Inside Prince Street

The Brand

Prince Street is a Brooklyn-based fashion company for teens and young women. We give classic silhouettes a modern edge that enables you to create hip and chic looks for any season.

Our premiere capsule collection offers seven coordinated pieces: Blouses in chambray, rayon, white cotton blend embellished with poet sleeves, obnoxious bows, and a Mandarin collar; a pencil pant, blazer, vest dress, flirty skirt, and a hooded dress, all in denim, a fabric that never goes out of style, as well as exuberant splattered-paint prints, plaids and patchwork.

The Maker

Inspired by the dressmaking expertise of her grandmother and fashion opportunities presented to her early in life, wardrobe stylist Sheneen Zee, attended the Fashion Styling, Wardrobe Technician and Costume Design Specialist program at New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology and embarked on a career that for the last decade has led her to play a major role on fashion teams working in television advertising, celebrity styling, music videos, editorials and fashion shows.

Sheneen’s projects have included work with vocalists Whitney Houston, Jill Scott, Wynonna Judd and Melanie Fiona. Also, actors Kathy Bates, Gabourey Sidibe and Troi Zee and television personality Sherri Shepherd.  Zee’s magazine work includes Ebony, Figure Essence and Diane. She has also lent her talents to Pennington’s, a premiere Canadian retailer, and has worked on Vanity Fair for the Queen Latifah line. Sheneen has worked extensively with celebrity stylist Susan Moses and on projects with stylist Timothy Snell, Tiffany Hasbourne and style director Lynda Johnson of KidstyleSource.com

With the introduction of Prince Street, Sheneen has come full circle in the world of fashion, from the mannequin to the maker, stylist to style innovator.

The Face

Teen actress/singer Troi Zee, whose credits include Sesame Street, PBS Kids, Reading Rainbow, South Pacific National Tour, Nickelodeon and the Radio City Christmas Spectacular, serves as the face of the Prince Street brand. Troi, an honor student, was recently featured in the independent films 1982 and Advantageous. She is a member of the Screen Actor's Guild and Actor's Equity and is represented by Paradigm Talent Agency and Abrams Artist Agency.
